Police released a photo of a man wanted in connection with a string of robberies that targeted women in the Bronx.
Investigators are asking for the public's help to locate the man, 26-year-old Gilrael Ruperto. He is a suspect in several robberies of women between the ages of 64 and 72, police said.
Ruperto is suspected of stealing a purse from a 72-year-old woman on Nov. 17 in the Mott Haven neighborhood. The victim was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance and thrown to the ground during the robbery, police said.
