Two brothers from Long Island have been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that left a newspaper delivery truck driver hospitalized in serious condition.
Police say the accident involved a Newsday delivery truck that was struck and overturned in Blue Point on March 4.
According to Newsday, its driver, Douglas Pierkarski, remains in the hospital.
Anthony Dambrosio of Patchogue, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with serious injuries.
His brother, Michael Dambrosio of Medford was charged with tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution.
Information about their lawyers was not immediately available.
