Authorities say a Westchester police officer has been hurt in a crash on the Cross County Parkway.
They say the officer's injuries are not life-threatening.
The officer was hit by a passing motorist while investigating an earlier crash at around 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The Journal News says the eastbound express lanes were blocked and traffic was moving slowly as the morning rush-hour began.
