A New Jersey man has been arrested on murder and child endangerment charges after he allegedly beat his girlfriend's toddler to death, prosecutors say.
Victor M. Sainz allegedly physically assaulted the 19-month-old child so badly the toddler died on Sept. 4, the Passaic County prosecutor's office said.
Sainz is being held on $1 million bail. He's scheduled to appear in court Thursday at 9 a.m.
