New York City police said they've shot and killed a man who lunged at them with a baseball bat.
Officers were called Tuesday night to a Bronx apartment building because of a dispute involving a weapon. They said when the officers arrived they found the man with the bat and he wouldn't put it down, according to police.
The officers said they shot him one time in the chest when he lurched in their direction.
The man died during surgery at a hospital.
