A 25-year-old woman was shot in the arm as she walked down a Bronx street Monday afternoon, police said.
The woman was walking at E. 178th Street and Lafontaine Avenue around 3 p.m. in Tremont when she was hit by a bullet, according to police. She was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was listed in serious but stable condition.
Police say that she was not the intended target of the shooting.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
