Woman Wreaks Havoc at Staten Island Phone Repair Booth: NYPD

A woman in a rage punched an employee and tossed merchandise at a mall on Staten Island, police said.

The woman took her cell phone to a service booth at the Staten Island Mall last month to have her screen fixed, but became enraged after finding the repair job to be unsatisfactory, police said.

That’s when she punched the 29-year-old woman working at the repair booth with a closed fist and knocked over merchandise before running away with several children and a man, according to police.

The employee suffered pain and redness to her face and eye, but refused medical attention at the scene.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect Tuesday in the hopes of finding her.
