A man caught urinating on an NYPD tow truck punched a traffic agent in the face when the agent confronted him, police say.
Cops are searching for the suspect, last seen wearing a red tank top when he fled eastbound toward Madison Avenue on East 39th Street.
Police said a traffic agent spotted the man urinating on the NYPD tow truck at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and approached him.
The suspect, who's described as in his 50s, punched the agent in the face, then ran away.
The agent sustained pain and swelling to the face.
