Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a 12-year-old boy inside the elevator of his Bronx apartment building last month.
The suspect walked into the Marion Avenue building’s elevator just before 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and demanded the boy give him his property, the NYPD said.
A third person walked into the building’s lobby at the same time and the suspect ran off empty-handed.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect, who was wearing a striped hat and had a bike with him. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
