Man Stabs High Line Hotel Concierge After Learning No Rooms Available: Police

A 40-year-old concierge at Chelsea's High Line Hotel was stabbed in the leg by a man, possibly homeless, who walked into the building and apparently became angry when he was told there were no rooms available, according to police.

Authorities say the suspect walked into the hotel on West 10th Avenue around 4:15 a.m., asked about a room and then attacked the concierge. He then ran off.

The concierge was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
