Authorities on Long Island rescued a black Labrador from an 8-foot deep well Sunday night.
Officers said it took nearly two hours and three agencies to fetch the 14-year-old dog from the well in Kings Park.
Besides the Suffolk County police, members of the Commack Fire Department Technical Rescue and the Kings Park Fire Department Heavy Rescue also helped avert a canine calamity.
Mindy is apparently doing fine after her ordeal. It's not clear how she got down there.
