A report of a suspicious package prompted the evacuation of moviegoers Saturday night at a theater in New Jersey.
A bomb squad found no explosives after scouring the Edgewater Multiplex Cinemas, said a spokesman at the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
No one was injured during the evacuation, which occurred at about 9:30 p.m., police said.
An anonymous call to theater security reported that shots were fired and that a suspicious package was left inside the complex, investigators said.
