A group of bystanders stepped in to help rescue a visually impaired woman who fell on the tracks at the Wall Street subway station Thursday, authorities said.
The MTA said the woman fell on the tracks of the southbound No. 2 line at the station around 9:30 a.m. and other customers helped her get back to the platform.
She never came into contact with a train.
The FDNY said the woman was taken to a hospital but is expected to be OK.
