Baby Store Worker Attacked With Hammer on Staten Island

The suspects ran off without stealing anything, police said

Police are looking for two suspects who assaulted a 30-year-old worker at a Staten Island baby furniture store with a hammer last week.

Authorities say the suspects walked into the "Itsy Bitsy Baby" store on Forest Avenue last Wednesday around lunchtime and attacked the employee.

They fled without stealing anything and did not make any comments that would indicate a possible motive for the attack, police said.

The victim was treated for multiple cuts and swelling to his head and body.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspects (above).

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
