Authorities have released the name of a second man who they say was stabbed to death inside a New Jersey home last week before it was set on fire, allegedly by the son of one of the victims.

Middlesex County prosecutors on Tuesday identified Gregory Fischer as one of the men killed in a fire in Jamesburg earlier this month. Fischer and Clifford Kitchen, both 53, lived in the home with the latter's 21-year-old son, Jaree Kitchen.

The intense fire broke out at the two-story, wood-framed home on Sheridan Street around 3 a.m. Nov. 6, according to fire officials. Authorities quickly put out the fire but the damage to the home appeared extensive.

The two bodies were found a short time later inside the single-family home. The Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office performed the autopsies and found that both victims sustained stab wounds. The manner of death for both victims was ruled as homicide.

The younger Kitchen is charged with two counts of murder, a weapons offense and single counts of aggravated arson, hindering prosecution and destroying physical evidence. He's due to appear in court Wednesday, but it's not known if he's retained an attorney.

A motive for the stabbings has not been disclosed.
