$5K Offered in Deadly Cat-Shooting Spree Investigation on Long Island: SPCA

Cats are being shot dead in a Long Island neighborhood, and police are offering a $5,000 reward for information as they search for the culprits behind the animal killings. 

The dead cats were found between Stewart and North avenues, and Kensington Brixton roads in Garden City over the past several months, according to police.

The Nassau County SPCA said some of the deceased cats were shot by a small caliber bullet.

The SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
