Brooklyn Landlord, 63, Charged With Murder in Tenant Shooting

A 63-year-old Brooklyn landlord was charged with second-degree murder Monday after he allegedly shot his tenant during an apparent argument over money, police said.

Philip Estevez was taken into custody shortly after police found Louis Martinez, 51, dead of a gunshot wound to the chest in a home on Shepherd Avenue Sunday afternoon.

It wasn't immediately clear if he Estevez had an attorney.
