Four people were rescued from inside a burning New Jersey home late Monday, officials say.
Seventy firefighters battled the raging fire as it ripped through the three-story home in Newark. Officials said two adults and one child were taken to area hospitals, however, the extent of their injuries weren’t known. It also wasn’t clear if the fourth person who was rescued suffered any injuries.
Four firefighters were also injured as they tried to tackle the blaze, which took about an hour and a half to get fully under control. The hurt firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
