Police are looking for three men who took $50,000 from a 68-year-old woman’s safe last month in the Bronx.
The woman heard a knock on at the door of her Riverdale apartment around 11 a.m. on July 28, so she sent her 22-year-old home health aide to answer, the NYPD said.
When she did, three suspects forced their way into the apartment and locked her into a closet, police said.
The suspects then demanded the 68-year-old woman open her safe and assaulted her, according to authorities. She complied, and the suspects fled with $50,000.
The victims were uninjured.
