Repair crews had their hands full with two separate water main breaks in Manhattan this morning.
One of the breaks happened shortly before 1 a.m. at First Avenue and 62nd Street, flooding the basement of at least one nearby building with two feet of water.
Fire authorities said "a couple [of] blocks may be affected," but there were no reports of serious damage.
The other break occurred just after 6 a.m. on Broadway between 105th and 106th streets.
Some streets were closed while crews made emergency repairs, but traffic now appears to be moving smoothly.
