Police say a man in Queens shot and wounded his wife and another woman before killing himself.
The shooting happened inside a home on Gates Avenue in Ridgewood at about 8 p.m.Tuesday, police say.
The man allegedly shot a 54-year-old woman in the back and a 32-year-old woman in the arm. Both unidentified women were taken to Elmhurst Hospital and they are expected to survive.
Police believed the man had barricaded himself inside, and when they entered the home to investigate, they found the suspect dead.
No further information was immediately available.
