1 Dead, 1 Critically Hurt in Queens Halloween Shooting: NYPD

Police are looking to question two people in connection with a fatal Halloween shooting in Queens.

Two men were shot near 240-15 144th Avenue in Rosedale just before 9 p.m. Saturday, the NYPD said.

A 19-year-old man identified as Peyton Manwaring sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and an 18-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the leg and torso.

They were both taken to Jamaica Hospital where Manwaring was pronounced dead. The unidentified 18-year-old is in critical condition.

Police said they are looking to question two people who were seen on surveillance video wearing black hooded sweatshirts and following the victim just before the shooting.
