Perry Tops Romney in Another GOP Poll

Texas Gov. Rick Perry topped ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in yet another national GOP poll. According to the CNN/Opinion Research poll, Perry was favored by 32% of Republicans polled over Romney, who won over 18%. Romney has been thought of the front-runner among the GOP candidates, but the Texan passed him for the first time in a national GOP survey last week. Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who surged above other candidates in the game-changing Ames poll, came in third, with 12%. According to CNN, Perry's base appears to be men and voters age 50-64.
