What You're Doing Tonight: 11/6

Our roundup of noteworthy happenings around town.

YUM-O: Whether you're a die-hard Rayette or think Rachael Ray is nails on a chalkboard made flesh, you can't deny the hold she has on a certain segment of America. She'll be at the Union Square Street Barnes & Noble tonight for the launch of Rachael Ray's Big Orange Book - 200 new 30-minute meals you can whip up while speaking just a little too loudly at the camera. 7PM.

GLUE GUNS 4 EVER: Head to Columbus Circle for a night of food, drink (home-brewed beer!), D.J. spinergy and rogue making of stuff with 200 crafters as the Church of Craft takes over the Museum of Arts and Design for its annual D.I.Y. Salon. 7PM.

GOT MILK?: Gus Van Sant's buzzy new biopic Milk, about San Francisco gay rights activist Harvey Milk -- assassinated in 1978 -- doesn't come out until December 5. In the meantime, head to MoMA tonight for Rob Epstein's documentary The Times of Harvey Milk (1984), a fascinating peek into the icon's short, passionately-fought life. 6PM (also on Saturday at 8:30PM)
