As mentioned in this week’s New York, Angelo Sosa’s sandwich shop Xie Xie will open sometime this week (the day is still TBD). The crown jewel of the menu is the Asian lobster roll. For dessert there’s a “1,000-year-old ice-cream sandwich” that riffs on the traditional preserved egg by oozing caramel when you bite into it, and to drink: Bandit wines (wine in a juice box!).
