The Olsens Postpone Their Row Show

Sadly, given The Row's much-anticipated runway debut last spring, New Yorkers will have to wait another season before the city is host to another presentation. In a joint statement, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen announced that due to delayed sampled deliveries, they'll have to postpone their second runway show—originally slated to take place tomorrow afternoon at Milk Studios—in favor of a later presentation sometime during Paris' fashion week, between September 28 and October 6.

According to WWD, the date and venue for their now Paris-based Spring/Summer 2011 presentation has not yet been finalized, however the affair is expected to be an intimate one much like their first show last February. Though the delay and subsequent change of locale was hardly intentional, its open to speculation as to whether or not this will actually help drive global sales for the brand, which already sells to international retailers such as Isetan (Japan), Le Bon Marché, Maria Luisa, Printemps (France), and Podium (Russia).

And of course, now we'll be doubly-anticipating the collection.
