Two Staten Island teenagers already facing hate crime charges have been linked to another bias attack -- but this crime could carry federal charges.
Ralph Nicolettii and Bryan Garaventa, 18, have been charged in New York state with beating a Muslim teenager the night Barack Obama was elected president.
Police and the FBI believe the two were involved in a hit and run several hours later that left a supermarket manager, Ronald Forte, in a coma and possibly suffering permanent brain damage.
According to the Daily News, police believe the pair was trolling a predominately black and Hispanic Staten Island neighborhood looking for victims.
