Met with resounding applause, Ohne Titel presented a Spring 2010 collection of magnificent knits, geometric structure and draping to make your heart melt. Oh, and Tavi was in the front row!
On a quiet Saturday morning-slash-mid-afternoon, fashion's significant front row set and hordes of others descended upon the west side to behold a parade of ferociously embroidered, knit and laced-up pieces from the Parsons grads and besties, Flora Gill and Alexa Adams. With Karlie Kloss leading the stampede in a graphic-happy sweater and tux, the looks started off strong and colorful with snatches of red and teal on a mostly chalky gray and black foundation. Impossibly woven knits on tops, skirts and dresses went down the runway with knockout wedges and amazingly dirty-slick styling by Alastair McKimm, Jimmy Paul of Bumble and Bumble on hair and Gucci Westman for Revlon doing makeup.
The most profound moment, however, came a few outfits in, when out floated a French grey silk drape shell and slinky pants for a monochromatic flow from head to toe. Subtle, but so gorgeous making its way across the floor.
Despite the uber-intelligence of OT's latest collection, the one to watch in the crowd was actually 12-year-old fashion blogger Tavi, looking darling in glasses and a funky foam-like headpiece.
