9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., the American Institute of Architects opens a new exhibit called “Make it Work: Engineering Possibilities,” with new projects by Arup, Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid, Herzog & de Meuron and others, focusing on the engineers as much as the architects. Runs until April 25 at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place.
