Embattled Ruby's Bar Gets Back to Business on Coney Island

Astroland is gone and fiesty seaside merchant Dianna Carlin's popular Lola Starr Souvenir Boutique has been banished from the boardwalk.

But historic and architecturally challenged Coney Island watering hole Ruby's Bar & Grill will open for the season on Easter Sunday, April 12, after operator Michael Sarrel and family successfully negotiated a new lease with landlord Joe Sitt's Thor Equities.
