Two Reasons to Dine on Vile-entine's Day, Even If You're Single

If Valentine’s Day finds you unattached this year, here are some incentives to join in the shitshow. Aureole tells us it’ll be featuring a V-Day menu consisting solely of new chef Christopher Lee’s dishes. While you’re checking it out, you might also want to peruse the new seven-course, $135 tasting menu (another chance to see what Lee is up to) as well as the dinner menu, which is now about 75 percent Lee’s (we’re told he’s finalizing it within the next weeks). Also, according to Eater, Freemans is dropping its walk-ins-only policy and allowing reservations for the night, meaning it’ll be the one time you can hit up those delish cheese grits without getting stuck waiting at the bar.
