Freemans Gets Into the Wine Biz, Introducing “Freemans Cuvée”

Freemans owner and known hipster wine snob William Tigertt has partnered with Hirsch Vineyards to produce a limited edition "Freemans Cuvée." It's a 2008 pinot noir. Official tasting notes are as follows: "A robust bouquet of roses, forest floor and wild berries leads to rich fruit and a complex acid structure with flavors of game, barbecue, currants, orange peel and black fruits. Remarkable tannins: long, sultry and layered. Freemans Cuvée has extraordinary grip and texture for its age." The wine will be on offer at Freemans in March at $80 a bottle/$20 per glass.
