Meatheads, Consider Your Super Bowl Options

The bo ssäm.

Cheer up, Giants fans! According to Momofuku Ssäm’s website, the hallowed bo ssäm is now available for pickup as part of a $275 Super Bowl package. The spread feeds ten (it includes sides and sauces, chicken wings, and desserts) and must be ordered by 5 p.m., January 29. (Or, make your own Momofeast!) Blue Smoke also has catering options, or if you’re looking for a scene, the restaurant is also hosting a pricey meat hang — a $135 ticket gets you all-you-can-eat ’cue and an open bar, starting at 5 p.m. Finally, if you’d rather DIY, the one and only Dr. BBQ (the man with the plan at Southern Hospitality and the author of Dr. BBQ’S NFL Gameday Cookbook) will host a $45, January 21 “tailgating class” teaching you to make southern specialties like a tropical pork-chop sandwich, macaroni-and-cheese soup, and Memphis-style dry rib. Tickets here.
