Dinner and an Opera (or Orchestra!)

Rest assured the Dallas BBQ and Apollo Amateur Night combo isn’t the only way to get your grub with a side of culture. On Wednesday nights starting next week, Alloro is hosting aria singers from the Noteworthies group. You can order à la carte (seatings are at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; unfortunately, the $20.09 pasta-and-wine deal won’t be in effect those nights) or camp at the bar for free hors d'oeuvre. The music is gratis, but just like mariachis, opera singers appreciate your tips. And: The folks at Inside Park (which opens its terrace on April 15) tell us that Gregory Moore and His Cosmopolitan Orchestra will be accompanying a $55, three-course meal inspired by the vernal equinox. Two seatings on March 21: 6-6:30 p.m. and 9-9:30 p.m.
