Newest “Obama Girl” is 4-Years-Old

Girl is one of 175 New Yorkers who won a statewide lottery for inauguration tickets

Four-year-old Lou Cubberly may not be old enough to vote, but the Brooklyn girl has got tickets to see democracy at work.

Lou was among the lucky few in New York to win a statewide lottery held by Sen. Charles Schumer for a chance to attend Barack Obama's inauguration.

Dad Craig Cubberly joked that his daughter will be taking him along with her. He said, "It will be a great father-daughter moment watching history."

He said he entered her name along with his and his wife's in the lottery after noting that there was no age restriction.

His daughter was among the 175 New Yorkers picked to attend Obama's inauguration. About 150,000 people entered.

Each winner receives two general admission tickets to the Jan. 20 ceremony.
