Excuse the hotel hallway setting—The Feast caught up with Jean Georges executive pastry chef and returning 'Top Chef: Just Desserts' judge Johnny Iuzzini at a launch for Highland Park's 50-year-old scotch last week held at the adjacent Trump International. Iuzzini paired a dessert tasting heavy on chocolate and smokey flavors like charred mandarin ice cream with the spirit. It was a fitting mission for a man who loves cocktails so much he admits to being "a puker." In our revealing questionnaire, Iuzzini also fantasizes about fast motorcycles and working with metal, but don't get too dreamy-eyed this Valentine's Day. He craves his girlfriend too.
Sin City is The Feast's signature interview series, wherein we get to know the city's characters in a biblical sense, by asking them seven very serious questions.
