Tickets to Neko Case’s Bell House show on February 6 sold out in a hot minute, so if you missed that performance, allow us to remind you that sometime New Pornographer will be at the Barnes & Noble on Union Square tonight, playing as part of the Upstairs at the Square series.

Indie music’s most consistently inspired redhead will play a shortish set of material from her fifth studio album, Middle Cyclone. Journalist Katherine Lanpher will interview Case as well as Michael Showalter (Stella, The State), who’ll be on hand to read from, plug and sign his new comedy memoir Mr Funny Pants (which, as we’ve pointed out before, is not to be confused with Tina Fey’s comedy memoir Bossypants. Pants, pants, pants).

Upstairs at the Square: Neko Case and Michael Showalter. Thursday, February 24, 7PM. Barnes and Noble, 33 East 17th Street; 212-253-0810. Free.
