Anne Hathaway will star in the comedy “Twelfth Night” for Shakespeare in the Park this summer in Central Park, the Public Theater announced today .
"Twelfth Night" will be staged at the open-air Delacorte Theater from June 9 through July 12. Tickets will again be free, although summer supporter donations of $170 can get you a reserved seat.
Other casting has not yet been announced, but the comedy will be directed by Daniel Sullivan.
As announced earlier, the second play of the summer in Central Park will be Euripides’ “The Bacchae.” It will be staged from August 11 through September 6.
No word yet on whether the Public Theater will revive its online lottery for the free tickets.
