Did you know Teen Vogue is hosting a concert weekend?
On Sunday, Theodora Richards will host the teen bible's first ever band battle, Rock Meets Runway, for a panel of judges, including Debbie Harry. Apparently, they launched a contest to find the best new girl band a while back, and have narrowed the choices down to three groups (Snake Pliskin, Half Demon Doll and Pike) who'll perform for the sold-out crowd at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. The winning bands get a record deal with Wicked Cool Records, and we're pretty sure this is just the beginning of an annual bash.
We don't know when Teen Vogue decided to be a little Sassy, but we welcome it. As long as nobody called Pussycat anything ever wins.
