Electro-pop band Cut Copy announced a third show at Terminal 5 today after two other concerts at the venue sold out. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon for the April 6th date. With their new album "Zonoscope" recently deemed "best new music" by the astute critical minds at Pitchfork, the Australian group is comfortably settling into its raised profile, even if it means sounding like Phoenix to appease larger crowds.
In other big indie dance music news, LCD Soundsystem will play four scalper-avenging Terminal 5 gigs after their farewell concert (controversially, somehow) sold out Madison Square Garden last week. Those dates are March 28th-31st, though there's no word yet on when tickets will go on sale.
