Comix had its last laugh on Saturday night. Judah Friedlander ("30 Rock") and Christian Finnegan delivered the final stand-up routines at the 5,000 square foot comedy megaclub just hours after it formally broke the news of its immediate closure. The announcement came not even a month after new owners took control of the Meatpacking District venue and vowed to shake up the programming, telling the Comic's Comic, "It's going to be an old-school Copa-type variety club. We don't want to be Caroline's."
