North Brooklyn Story Project Benefit Concert
Hosted by Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG), this benefit concert features The Blue Album Group (plays Weezer's Blue Album), Rebecca Schiffman, and The Roulettes. Proceeds will go to support the North Brooklyn Story Project. While at the concert, share your North Brooklyn stories, good or bad, and interact with others in the community.

Which Way Coney Island?: A Symposium on Its Future
Moderated by NYU Journalism Professor Suketu Mehta, the symposium will feature the city's proposed comprehensive plan for Coney Island, currently in public review, with a presentation by New York City Planning and responses by the Municipal Art Society and Thor Equities, LLC. Panelists include: Purnima Kapur, Brooklyn director of City Planning; Dan Jennings, Thor Equities; Melissa Baldock, Kress/RFR fellow for Historic Preservation and Public Policy, the Municipal Art Society; Charles Bendit, Taconic Investments; Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush, El Diario/La Prensa; Dick Zigun, Coney Island Circus Sideshow; and Ahsanullah "Bobby" Khan, Coney Island Avenue Project.

Williamsburg Walks 2009 Information Meeting
L Magazine and Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG) are partnering this year to organize the 2009 Williamsburg Walks. They are hoping to make the event even more enjoyable for the residents, merchants, and visitors of North Brooklyn. The meeting is your chance to give your opinion and share your concerns.
