Two months ago we learned that Clermont Greene, the 73-unit through-block development at 174 Vanderbilt Avenue in Fort Greene, had gotten its C of O; then last month came the news that the building was 25 percent sold. Now, as of July 16, we can report that the first closing has occurred. The apartment in question is a 1,210-square-footer that went for $772,000. Presumably there's more to come in the near future.
