When we last poked our head through the construction fence at 197 Berry Street, the site was frozen both figuratively and literally (it was January, after all). Now, though, blog Brooklyn 11211 reports that there's some action: Although it's hard to see in this photo, there's some concrete and rebar visible above the sidewalk bridge. The blog also notes that the plans are still as-of-right, meaning that we should be looking at no more than six stories as opposed to the 20 or so the developer was lobbying for way back when.
