Phillip Lim will show his men's collection at next month's Fashion Week, declaring a return to New York Men's Fashion Week as it once was.
With refreshing, and probably well placed enthusiasm, Phillip Lim announced his Fall 2010 menswear collection will debut at Fashion Week. Lim took pride in what he describes as a strong, polished line fitting of a runway splash. "It belongs on the runway," Lim told WWD. "And it's time to take New York Men's Fashion Week back. It's become an endangered species."
Considering Lim's runaway commercial success of late with everything from cocktail dresses to children's clothing, we imagine he's exactly the right designer to bring men's fashion back to the foreground of the week.
