Embattled NYC Schools Nominee Sells Conn. Home — at a Discount

Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s controversial pick for schools chancellor just can't catch a break.

Not only is Cathie Black's nomination in trouble, but she’s also having problems on the real estate front.

Black’s 1839 five-bedroom house in Bridgewater, Connecticut just sold for $370,000 less than she was asking for it, according to the New York Times.

Klemm Real Estate listed the the house at $2.35 million -- but it just went for a paltry $1.98 million.
