At a time when people are "losing their shirts" in this recession, Thomas Pink is giving them away!

Lines roped around the Rockefeller Center Channel Gardens with those hoping to take advantage of the 1,000 free men's and women's custom-fitted shirts courtesy of the luxury retailer.

The pop-up shop, complete with courtesy shoe shining and gourmet coffee, was inspired by the upcoming show "White Collar" starring newcomer Matt Bomer airing on the USA Networks.

Bomer along with co-stars Tim DeKay and "Saved by the Bell" alum Tiffani Thiesen worked the red carpet of the event.
Consultants were on hand to help shoppers select the style of the complimentary shirt they wanted--then took their measurements for a sleek fit.

But wait made many wear...after opening at 8 a.m. those that came nearly a half hour later was told they'd be in line for possibly 7 hours!
