The largest multi-arts festival in North America will be celebrating its 14th anniversary starting this Friday.
From Aug. 13 to Aug. 29 more than 200 companies from all over the world will perform in 20 venues from the West Village to the Lower East Side. From Latino to Middle Eastern to Jewish to gay, lesbian, or transgender and Hawaiian shows, Fringe will feature performances to satisfy everyone’s interest.
FringeJR will offer family focused productions at $10 a ticket, and FringeHIGH will offer shows for teens. If you’d like to take advantage of the last days of summer FringeAL Fresco will showcase snippets of what the festival has to offer. For after-hours partying FringeCLUB 2010 will take place at The Actors’ Playhouse on Aug. 19 and 26, and power hour will take place Fridays and Saturdays at the same location.
