Drag Queen Pageant to Return to AC

It's time to start dusting off those feather boas.

The Miss'd America Pageant will return to Atlantic City after a five year hiatus.

The drag queen beauty pageant and charity fundraiser was created as a spoof of the Miss America Pageant, which has since left the city.

The pageant raised an estimated $250,000 for the AIDS Alliance from 1992 to 2004.

The new Miss'd America Pageant will take place on Jan. 31, 2010 at Boardwalk Hall.

It will benefit the GLBT Alliance, the Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation, The William Way Center of Philadelphia, Broadway Cares-Equity Fights AIDS of New York City and the South Jersey AIDS Alliance.
