A Miami judge will allow Donte Stallworth to train with a strength and conditioning coach while under house arrest, as the former wide receiver tries to make his way back to the NFL.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy granted a motion to modify the conditions of Stallworth's house arrest today, and will let the former Cleveland Brown train five days a week in Florida.

The 28-year-old served 24 days of a 30-day jail sentence for DUI manslaughter, and will be on probation for 10 years, including two years of house arrest, under the terms of a plea deal he struck with Miami prosecutors.

Stallworth was arrested after he struck and killed 59-year-old construction worker Mario Reyes with his Bentley after a night of clubbing in Miami Beach in the early hours of March 14.

The NFLer had a blood alcohol level of .126 when the accident occurred, well over the legal limit of .08, and tested positive for marijuana in his system.

Stallworth made the plea deal with Miami prosecutors in June, which also included 1,000 hours of community service and a lifetime driving ban, and was released after his brief jail stint in July.

Though he's been suspended indefinitely by the NFL, Stallworth met with league commissioner Roger Goodell last week in the hopes of getting reinstated into the NFL and rejoining the Browns. Goodell has yet to make a decision.
